Photos: OTEC School of Journalism holds 3rd graduation Ceremony

OTEC School of Journalism and Communication Studies on Sunday November 22, 2020 held its 3rd   Graduation Ceremony at the school’s premises at Asawase in Kumasi

The event which saw 36 students graduating brought together prominent dignitaries including the director of OTEC FM Mr Kofi Nti, Dr Stephen Takyi Planner and a Lecturer at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, among others.

Speaking under the theme “Ensuring Peaceful Elections, Role of Journalist ,” the Principal of OTEC School of Journalism and Communication Studies , Miss Deborah Oppong Twumasi appealed to media practitioners who will be deployed to cover the elections to be fair and firm and give accurate reportage .

“I am urging media practitioners on the country to give reportage come 2020 elections to ensure that our peaceful co-existence is maintained during , before and after the polls”.

She disclosed that out of the 36 students who were completed their studies for the 2018 academic, 14 were males representing 0.14 percent and 22 females representing 0.22 percent.

She added that 31 students have also been admitted for the 2020/2021 academic year.
