President Akufo-Addo
President Akufo-Addo has said the output of his ministers have met his expectations therefore there is no need to reshuffle them.
According to him President, he is not ready to reshuffle his ministers because according to him, they have been outstanding adding that ‘’their output has been considerable, and that is what I look at’’.
Speaking on Kumasi private radio OTEC FM in an interview as part of his four day tour to Ashanti Region on Monday October 17, 2022, President Akufo-Addo said “If the output measures expectations, then I don’t have any strong reasons to heed the call,”
Although there have been calls on him to reshuffle his appointees because of their abysmal performance leading to the serious economic downturn and hardships in the country, the President jumped to their defense.
While President Akufo-Addo said he evaluates the work of his ministers consistently, he feels “many of them for me have done outstanding work.
‘’I feel many of them for me have done outstanding work. Their output has been considerable, and that is what I look at. If the output measures expectations, then I don’t have any strong reasons to heed the call,” he told the programme’s host Captain Koda.
