The Chief Executive Officer for Think Positive Real Estate and Travel and Tours, Mr Derrick Gyan has warned the public against dealing with fake and unscrupulous persons and organizations when seeking to travel outside the country.
According to him, there are hundreds of scammers out there posing as travel agents with the aim of swindling people of their hard earned money.
Mr Gyannoted that, most of these fake agents come up with juicy offers and packages which are too good to reject.
“The fraudsters are very smart that, they offer tempting packages to unsuspecting public in their modus operandi”
He said this when Think Positive Real Estate and Travel and Tours organized a special dinner ball for some distinguished individuals and institutions in the Ashanti Region at the Lancaster Hotel on Wednesday November 39,2022.
The dinner according to the firm, formed part of their cooperate social responsibility, where individuals and companies who have done outstanding work for the development of Ghana are encouraged to do more.
A wide range of companies and individuals numbering over 40, including teachers, clergy, security agencies, lawyers, schools, among others were selected this year with the Kumasi based OTEC 102.9 being the only media firm to be choosen in the Ashanti Region.
