Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum, Education Minister of Ghana
Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum, Member of Parliament (MP) for Bosomtwe and Minister for Education has interacted with the communication wing of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Ashanti.
The Minister commended the wing for their immense contributions in projecting the works of the party and the government.
Dr Adutwum expressed government’s desire to ensure that the initiatives it was rolling out in all the levels of education including basic, secondary and tertiary yield the needed dividends for the people of the country.
“The NPP government led by President Akufo-Addo is committed to using innovation and technology to providing solutions in the education sector”.

The Minister said currently Junior High, Senior High and the special Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) schools were being supplied with the requisite books and teaching aids.
This STEM schools project currently ongoing, he noted is to ensure persons who have interests in pursuing engineering courses get the chance to do so at the Senior High School level.
He said the NPP government believes education is the best pivot around which the transformation agenda could best happen and was committed to investing in same to achieving optimum outcomes.
“We believe the best way of transforming our people and the economy of the country is through education and it is therefore a deliberate effort by the Nana Akufo-Addo government to churn more investments in the education sector”, Dr Adutwum stated.

Mr Paul Kwabena Yandoh, Ashanti Regional Director of Communications for the NPP thanked the Minister for taking time to explain government initiatives in education to the party’s communications wing.
He noted that the elaborate information they had received would help them to adequately and properly discuss issues in the public.
Mr Yandoh stated that knowledge is power and therefore equipping and arming the wing with same was a commitment on his part and therefore urged all sector Ministers to avail themselves to meet the communications wing so they can discuss issues in their respective ministries.
“We are happy with the massive progress we are making in the area of education and we commend the President for giving us this bold and inspiring Education Minister Minister, Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum to lead such drive. We also thank the Minister for taking us through all the interventions government was making in education and i pray that members of this wing go from here to disseminate same information to the public to ensure we win the hearts of the Ghanaian people in the upcoming elections”, Mr Yandoh stated.
