The Council Chairperson for Manhyia South Sub-Metro, Hon James Boakye, also known as Kuku, has picked forms to contest the New Patriotic Party (NPP) primaries at the Manhyia South Constituency.
Hon Boakye, who is also the Assembly Member for Manhyia Electoral Area, picked his forms on Monday after the party officially opened nominations for the primaries.
Speaking to OTEC News Reporter Jacob Agyenim Boateng after picking the forms, Hon Boakye expressed confidence in winning the primaries, citing the support of both the grassroots and delegates in the area.
He highlighted his competence to serve the constituents and urged delegates to continue supporting him, promising to serve with humility and honesty.
Some youth in the area who accompanied Hon Boakye appealed to delegates to vote for him, noting that he resonates well with the youth.
They warned that if delegates fail to listen to them, the youth in the area will boycott the 2024 polls.
