Ashanti Regional Organizer of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr Francis Adomako is urging party faithfuls to start outdoor campaigns ahead of the December 7 General elections.

Speaking to this reporter during the unveiling of Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh as the NPP’s Vice Presidential candidate for election 2024, Mr Adomako said the marching orders had now been given to party members.

He stressed that the earlier the party attended to grounds work the better the outcome of same.

“The marching orders have been served us by the unveiling of Dr Napo as running mate to Dr Bawumia and ours is to go to every home in our communities and reach them with the NPP message”, the Regional organiser said.

Campaign Message:

Mr Adomako said the task on party members was simple and that is to sell the party’s presidential ticket and the respective NPP MP aspirants.

He noted that members are to tell the public about the work the NPP had done for the seven and half years.

Mr Adomako stated that the NPP had undertaken many policy intervention programmes for the benefit of the Ghanaian public, adding that party members can feed fat on it and campaign with same.

“We are to go out and tell others about the work we have done since they gave us this two term mandate and i believe every party member can have something to say”, Mr Adomako charged.

Strategy:

The NPP Ashanti Organiser said polling station, electoral area coordinators as well as constituency executives can zone their areas of operation into smaller sizes and carry out a phased campaign.

This, he noted would afford party members the opportunity to touch base with every home or persons in the community.

Mr Adomako further urged party members to campaign as if their lives depended on it.

“If we are to break the 8 as we are saying then our work rate should be such that we go all out as if our very lives depended on an electoral victory at the polls on December 7”, the Regional organiser stressed.
