The governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Ashanti Region has launched its Campaign Working Committees for the 2024 presidential and parliamentary elections
The 21 committees, each with a specific mandate, will spearhead the party’s strategic campaigns in the region with the Executive Director of National Service Scheme Hon Osei Asibbey Antwi serving as the Coordinator for all the committees
The committees include Markets and Trades, led by Chief of Staff Akosua Frema Osei Opare; First Time Voters, headed by Education Minister Dr. Osei Yaw Adutwum; Operations; Strategic Communications; Social Media Planning; Logistics; Security and Intelligence; and a Special Advisory Committee, chaired by MP for Suame, Hon. Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu.
Hon. Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu, after the inauguration, urged the committees to collaborate with grassroots party members for effective campaigning.
He emphasized the need for unity and a common goal among party members, calling for a vigorous campaign to ensure the NPP’s victory in the elections.
The Legal Committee, headed by a lawyer, is also part of the 21 committees established to ensure a comprehensive campaign strategy.
