Samsung Unveils AI-Powered Galaxy S25 Series, Targets Revitalized Sales
Samsung Electronics has launched its latest flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S25 series, boasting cutting-edge AI features powered by Qualcomm’s chips and Google’s artificial-intelligence model.
According to Park Ji-sun, Executive Vice President of Samsung’s Language AI team, the company is “one step ahead of the industry” in terms of AI offerings, and is confident about its direction.
The new Galaxy S25 series features Gemini, Google’s default AI engine, and Samsung’s upgraded in-house voice assistant, Bixby. Notably, Samsung has maintained the prices of its Galaxy S25 series, ranging from $799 to $1,299.
Despite being the first to launch an AI-powered smartphone, Samsung failed to reclaim its top spot in the global smartphone market last year.
The company faces intense competition from Apple in the premium market and from Chinese firms in the lower-end segment.
With its latest flagship series, Samsung aims to revitalize sales and regain its competitive edge in the market.
