Thugs lock out KATH HR Director for second time, swear to remove him from office

Reverend Tony Kofi Oduro, embattled HR Director at KATH

In a gripping and scary manner bearing the semblance of an action movie, ten (10) heavily built unidentified persons but suspected to be assigns of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) are reported to have stormed the offices of the HR Director last Friday.

A source said the men had planned to forcefully remove Rev Tony Kofi Oduro, the HR Director from office.

Narrating the frightening incident to this reporter, the source said seeing the HR officer was not around at the time they arrived sacked the workers from their offices in a furious manner.

The heavily built men were said to have also escorted the secretary to the HR Director from her office and cautioned her not to return to the place again, the source stated.

The source said while these movements were going on at the department, the embattled HR Director, Reverend Tony Kofi Oduro had locked himself inside his office.

Attempted Entry:

Noticing that the HR Director’s door was locked, the thugs, the source revealed tried forcing the door open.

However, despite the many attempts the men were unable to break the door down, the source noted.

According to our source, the thugs then decided to lock the gate before the Director’s office with some big padlocks they carried to the site.

Meanwhile, the HR Director was reported to have stayed silent in the room all throughout.

Revelations:

The source said, the HR Director previously refused to offer employment to someone related to the current Attorney General, Dominic Ayine despite the lady having the necessary qualifications.

This, the source said might have angered the thugs suspected to be NDC persons who now want to humiliate the Director in retaliation of what he is suspected to have done to their party member.

Reverend Oduro seem to have also ruffled the feathers of many staff and workers at the hospital with some showing signs of happiness, our source indicated.

The Source said since the first attempted break-in and the locking of the offices, no management or staff had gone to the HR to inquire about what is happening at the department.

Latest:

Meanwhile, the HR Director is reported to be living in fear.

He is reported to have experienced profuse fear from the threats the thugs issued last Friday.

Management, the source noted were yet to comment on the ongoing debacle despite having knowledge about the incident.

Background:

Reverend Tony Kofi Oduro was on the first week of April suspended by KATH Management for superintending over illegal acts at his department.

The acts included the printing and selling of employment forms which are meant to be given for free.

He was punished for doing these on his own accord without seeking permission or authorisation from Management.
