Ejurahene donates GH 20K supports St Monica’s SHS  for library and ICT project

Ejurahene , Barima Osei Hwedie II, has donated Twenty Ghana Cedis towards the construction of a modern library and ICT laboratory at St Monica’s Senior High School.

The support is aimed at improving technology and enhancing quality education for girls in the school.

The donation was made after the school management announced its intention to build a modern ICT lab and library to promote digital learning and strengthen academic excellence among young women.

 The contribution was officially announced during the launch of the school’s 80th anniversary celebration.

The anniversary was held under the theme: “Eighty Years of Girls Empowerment: Educating Generations and Transforming Lives.” The event brought together traditional leaders, education directors, old students, current students, and other stakeholders who gathered to celebrate the school’s achievements over the decades.

Speaking on behalf of the Ejuramanhene, the chairman of the program, Ejura Nkosoɔhene Nana Prempeh Agyeman, emphasized the chief’s strong commitment to education and his continuous impact on development in the country.

He also urged the public to support girls and women in pursuing education.

The Headmistress of St Monica’s Senior High School Dr Cynthia Asamoah Gyimah expressed her appreciation to all dignitaries who attended the celebration and contributed to its success. She further encouraged parents to enroll their children in St Monica’s SHS, describing the school as a place of excellence and empowerment for young women.
