“I am the most suitable person for the position of NPP General Secretary at this time,” Mr. Koduah stated. “When you look at my competencies, commitment, credibility and integrity, it is clear that I have what it takes to continue serving the party effectively.”
The NPP chief scribe acknowledged the party’s defeat in the 2024 general elections, noting that the experience has strengthened his resolve and deepened his understanding of the party’s internal dynamics and national political landscape.
“I have learnt a lot from our 2024 election defeat,” he said. “That experience has equipped me with more knowledge and insight. I am now guided by history and experience, and I believe the NPP needs an experienced hand as we prepare for the 2028 elections.”
Mr. Koduah stressed that rebuilding and repositioning the party requires steady leadership and a deep appreciation of past challenges. According to him, the lessons from the last election will be instrumental in shaping strategies to reclaim power.
He assured party delegates and supporters of his unwavering dedication to strengthening party structures at all levels, emphasizing that unity, discipline and strategic planning would be key to the NPP’s comeback.
“As a party, we must reflect, reorganize and re-energize ourselves. I am committed to ensuring that the NPP returns stronger and more united for victory in 2028,” he added.
