Ghana’s Deputy Envoy to Saudi Arabia dies
The Member of Parliament for Ayawaso North, Yussif Jajah, has announced the death of Ghana’s Deputy Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Sanni Jajah.Ghana travel guide
The MP, in a Facebook post, said Sanni Jajah, who was his nephew, died on the evening of Saturday, August 9.
According to him, further details on the funeral arrangements and other matters concerning the burial will be communicated by the family in due course.
Sanni Jajah was appointed Deputy Head of Mission at Ghana’s Embassy in Saudi Arabia on September 11, 2025, by President John Dramani Mahama.
In that capacity, he worked closely with Ghana’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Alhaji Said Sinare, in managing consular operations and supporting Ghanaian citizens in the country.
His responsibilities included providing assistance to Ghanaian nationals, particularly pilgrims travelling to Saudi Arabia for the annual Hajj.
