Ebony hits gold for her ‘’sponsor’’ song

Veteran Highlife musician, Mr Kyei Baffour, has declared his love for Priscilla Opoku Kwarteng,  known in showbiz as Ebony Reigns with reference to his “sponsor” hit song

Mr. Kyei Baffour “Adwoa bene” singer never minced words when he praised Ebony   for the high creativity and style  depicted in her “Sponsor”song.He hailed the choice of words used and explained they were point.

On OTECFM’S entertainment show dubbed” Anokyekrom” The highlife giant sang “sponsor” song and gave expository explanation to the lyrics.

Many entertainment pundits have been critical of our contemporary music stating how they lack good lyrical contents and are also incomprehensible. They can’t  even fathom why our own way of music has been alienated. This debate rages on as to which era of songs are the best.

In the midst of this, where then would you expect 1980s highlife music hit maker to be? Well despite being an “oldie “in Ghana music, Kyei Baffour has openly commended Ebony for his handiwork.

“l move one or two steps when I hear the song being played “he added.

Explaining his love for “sponsor” despite being not in tune with the old way of music, he stated that” life is full of dynamism.  You shouldn’t expect things the way they were after many years.

The same applies to music. That does not mean all contemporary songs are good: some actually do not make sense to me at all “he said with an emphatic voice tone.
