President Akufo-Addo inspects progress on Suame four-tier international project

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has inspected ongoing works on the four-tier international project at Suame in the Ashanti Region.

The visit was to get firsthand information about the current state of the project.
Addressing the media after the visit, President Akufo-Addo revealed that the project has been progressing steadily.

He noted that the three main overpasses, which form a critical part of the project, are now 40% complete.
“The contractor is currently working on relocating utilities and is expected to complete the project by 2025”. He said

President Akufo-Addo assured that the project will be completed as promised.
He described the project as critical to the development of the Ashanti Region and Ghana as a whole, adding that it will not only ease congestion but also reduce travel time.
