A/R: Family Demands Swift Investigation into Mysterious Death of Woman, 63, at Anwomaso
The family of Akua Mansah Dela, a 63-year-old trader at the Kumasi Kejetia Market, is calling for a swift investigation into her death after her body was found in a bush at Anwomaso High Tension in the Oforikrom Municipality of the Ashanti Region.
According to police investigations, the deceased had money on her and all her body parts were intact when she was found dead on Sunday, September 1, 2024.
The body has since been deposited at a morgue for autopsy.
In an interview with OTEC News Reporter Kwame Agyenim Boateng on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, Nelson Abgesi, son of the deceased, expressed suspicion of foul play and urged the Ghana Police Service to conduct a thorough investigation and bring the perpetrators to justice.
Akua Mansah Dela’s family is still trying to come to terms with her sudden and mysterious death.
They described her as a kind and gentle soul who was loved by all who knew her.
Her son, Nelson Abgesi, said that his mother was a hardworking trader who always put the needs of others before her own.
The Ghana Police Service has assured the family that they will conduct a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding Akua Mansah Dela’s death.
They have urged anyone with information to come forward and assist in the investigation.
The family is hopeful that justice will be served and that those responsible for her death will be brought to book.
