Chairman Odeneho Kwaku Appiah (COKA)
A stalwart of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Chairman Odeneho Kwaku Appiah (COKA), has cautioned party members against declaring their intentions to contest positions in the party, following a humiliating defeat in their history.
Instead, COKA emphasized the need for the party to focus on finding the cause of their unprecedented defeat and proffering lasting solutions to it.
Speaking to OTEC News Reporter Jacob Agyenim Boateng on Wednesday, Chairman COKA acknowledged that individuals blaming the leadership of the party for the loss have every right to do so, but urged them to exercise restraint in their actions.
While COKA remained tight-lipped about his plans to contest the chairmanship position in the Ashanti Region, he reiterated his commitment to helping the party recover and unite the grassroots.
COKA pledged to use his power and influence to ensure the party is in good shape for the 2028 polls.
This call to action echoes his previous statements on the importance of unity and hard work within the party.
As the NPP seeks to regroup and rebuild, COKA’s words serve as a reminder that collective effort and introspection are crucial to the party’s future success.
