A former CEO of the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC), Dr. KK Sarpong, is urging supporters of Alan Kyeremateng who are delegates of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to vote massively for Kennedy Agyapong in the party’s presidential primaries.

Dr. Sarpong, also a former chairman of Kumasi Asante Kotoko Soccer Club, made the appeal during an exclusive interview with D.O.K Cash on OTEC FM’s afternoon political show, “Dwabrem”.

According to Dr. Sarpong, although Alan Kyeremateng may not be in the party, there are many party members who still support him, and he is calling on them to vote for Kennedy Agyapong.

“Kennedy is the man of the moment, he’s very honest and patriotic, and with his leadership, the youth will rise and vote massively for the NPP to win power,” he said.

Dr. Sarpong also appealed to his fellow Asante Kotoko supporters who are NPP members to support Kennedy Agyapong.

“To all my Kotoko supporters, this is your champion chairman. If you happen to be a member of the NPP and have a voting right, go and vote for Kennedy Agyapong,” he urged.

He described Kennedy Agyapong as consistent in his work and service to the NPP and Ghana, making him the right person to lead the party and the country.
