Kumasi: One confirmed dead, several injured in deadly accident at Kaase
A gas tanker lost control and crashed into multiple vehicles, leaving one person dead and several others seriously injured.
The incident, which occurred around 10:00 a.m., involved a collision between a trotro vehicle carrying passengers, a private car, and a fuel tanker coming from the same direction.
According to Boampong, who witnessed the tragedy recounted to OTEC News that the tanker that was carrying load failed to ascend the hilly route and descended to crash a private vehicle and trotro carrying passengers
The passengers in the trotro fled for their lives after they realized the tanker was descending.
The deceased who was on board in an attempt to run was hit by the door and fell on the ground. The tanker then rolled over her after she fell on the ground
The body of the deceased was ripped apart beyoubd recognition after the tanker ran over her
Emergency services, including police and fire officers, are currently on site to manage the situation and transport the body to a nearby morgue.
