19-year-old Okada rider dies in tragic accident during funeral display at Offinso

An Okada rider believed to be 19 years old has reportedly died in a tragic accident while displaying with a motorcycle at the funeral rite of a colleague at Offinso in the Ashanti Region.

According to witnesses, the deceased clashed with a KIA Rhino while displaying his motor riding skills at the funeral.

Witnesses in an interview with OTEC News Reporter Kwame Agyenim Boateng said the sad incident occurred on the evening of Wednesday, August 19, 2026.

The body of the deceased has since been conveyed to a morgue by police in the area, with investigations ongoing to formally identify the deceased.
