Anas Deny Investigating Parliament

Ace Ghanaian investigative and sensational journalist Anas Arimeyaw Anas has denied speculation that he once investigated the Parliament house of Ghana but couldn’t release due to reasons best known to him even though some believe he was called by some top Government officials who were allegedly fingered.

“Did I tell you I was doing an investigation in parliament? When did I say this? Prove to me…I have not done any work in parliament. If I have done work in parliament I will release it,” ace investigative Journalist Anas responded when asked if he has conducted investigations into Parliament.

Speaking in an interview on OTEC FM’s morning show dubbed NYANSAPO hosted by Captain Koda, Mr Anas revealed that there have been no attempt by him to investigate Parliament but maybe he will do so in the future.

Reports in the media also have it that he has a work on Parliament and Galamsey that he is yet to release. Refuting the issue of the work on Parliament, he however confirmed that it is true work on Galamsey is in the pipeline as the editor in chief of the New Crusading Guide is on record to have disclosed.

I have never investigated Parliament and can’t tell when I will do so. Maybe I am not ready or don’t have the capability to do so but the future will decide he stated.

There have been rumors after the release of the investgative peice named #12 which revealed serious bribery and corruption in Ghana and Africa’s football which led to the sack of former Ghana Football Association (GFA) Boss Mr Kwasi Nyantakyi and other referees from the football industry in Ghana and Africa that Anas had earlier investigated some corrupt activities in Parliament but could not release because he was called to the seat of government and sorted out to drop the said piece.

Responding to this allegation, Anas told Captain Koda that allegations must not be given any attention since they do not hold any water.

I work and investigate at my own convenient time and if i am suppose to investigate Parliament, I will do so when ready he added.
