Nana Addo represents the hope our Ghana’s future- Otiko
The National Women Organizer for the Ghana’s Opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP),Otiko Afisah Djaba has urged the teeming masses of Ghanaian electorates, who have become disillusioned under the current John Mahama-led NDC government, not to lose hope.
According to Otiko Afisah Djaba, the youth of Ghana have a basic choice to make in this year’s election – a choice between the current NDC government which is overseeing unprecedented levels of “economic difficulties and hardships.”
Speaking on OTEC FM’S Flagship Programme, DWABREM, and Miss Otiko observed that the bad state of Ghana’s economy is because of bad governance, evidenced by the implementation of bad policies over the last 7 years. It is bad leadership that has brought about the poverty, economic difficulties and hardships Ghanaians are going through.
She stressed that, If the fundamentals of our economy were right, there would have been an abundance of jobs in Ghana. So there is hope for Ghana adding that President Mahamah’s claim of building a solid foundation is a hoax.
Ghana’s youth as well parents would have hope under Nana Addo’s government. ‘’If we can vote for change in December, I can assure you that Ghana will be a nation that will be able to provide for the needs of her citizens, Miss Otiko told the programme’s host Nana Ampratwum.”
She therefore, urged the electorates to have confidence in Nana Addo and the NPP, trusting that when they give him the mantle to serve the good people of Ghana.
Miss Otiko described government’s decision to seek a financial bailout from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) as an indication of government’s “spectacular failure”
The NPP’s National Women Organizer indicated that, Nana Addo and the Party have the men to protect and create jobs, because we need to tackle the widespread unemployment, affecting primarily the youth that is bedevilling this nation.
She said, Nana Addo who is not corrupt and cannot be corrupted will manimize corruption and also reduce the high cost of living that is affecting everybody.
