Kick Ayariga out of parliament – Bekwai Youth

A group known as the Concerned Youth of Bekwai has called on the Speaker of Parliament and Parliament as a body to consider expulsion of Hon. Mahama Ayariga from the House to compensate the people of for what they call, the emotional and psychological trauma their member of parliament Rt. Hon Joseph Osei-Owusu has gone through.
At a press conference, Monday, the group explained that the news about the bribery allegation on the Bekwai MP who doubles as the 1st Deputy speaker of parliament, Rt. Hon. Joseph Osei-Owusu by his colleague M.P for Bawku Central, Hon Mahama Ayariga shocked the entire constituents because, ”those who have come into contact with Rt. Hon Joewise as he is affectionately called, would readily admit that, an allegation of bribery on this noble man was just a fruitless attempt to tarnish his hard won reputation.”
”We were not baffled by the theatrical and fictional story meant by some honourable members of parliament to blackmail their own colleagues, but we were amazed as to how our M.P, Rt Hon Joewise, who has worked closely with us for years will involve in such a cheap act.”
According to them, their confidence and belief in Rt. Hon Joseph Osei-Owusu never waivered because they knew and were convinced from day one that, Rt Hon. Joewise was innocent and would not stoop so low for a bribe of Ghc 3,000.
”We are therefore by this press release showing our strong Solidarity to Rt Hon. Joseph Osei-Owusu today, tomorrow and forever. Our M.P is everything to us. He is our hope and the face of Bekwai and Amansie at large. We will continue to remember him in prayers and support him prosecute his vision of improving the lives of the people of Amansie. Rt Honourable, “No weapon fashioned against you shall prevail”. We urge our M.P to focus on working hard for mother Ghana and be mindful of his steps since there might be a calculated attempt to touch his hard won envious reputation.”
”Corruption is not meant to be shared, if you try sharing just to seek equalization, you will technically run from Parliament on Fridays.”
”Rt Hon. Joseph Osei-Owusu, the Wiseman, “Honesty they say is expensive and cheap people like Hon. Mahama Ayariga cannot afford it”
”May the Almighty God continue to bless, guide and give you wisdom to do your best for the people of Amansie and Mother Ghana.”
