State vehicle retreived at Asunafo South
The Asunafo South police commander DSP Alfred Akwasi Boakye and his team have retrieved a suspected state vehicle which was being used by Mr. Prince Nyarko, a brother to the formal Brong Ahafo Regional Minister Hon Eric Opoku.
According to reports, Mr Six a driver of Prince Nyarko an NDC Organizer in the district was spotted using the state vehicle with registration number, GE 9934 16 which he claimed to be the owner.
The police commander and his team on Thursday 20 April night were hinted that the said state vehicle was being used by one Mr. Six so they quickly went and arrested him and upon interrogation, he told the police that the said car belong to Mr. Prince Nyarko who is the brother of the former Ashanti regional Minister.
Upon invitation by the police, Mr Prince Nyarko told the police that, the car belong to his brother.
When the car was searched, about hundred pieces of Nana Addo campaign Tee shirts, shockers that are supposed to be used by the police and other undisclosed items were found.
The vehicle has been impounded whiles investigations still continues.
