Kwesi Appiah tasked to win Cameroon 2019

Black Stars coach James Kwesi Appiah has been tasked to win the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations to be held in Cameroon.
By such a task he is expected to qualify the team to the tournament to be staged between January 12, 2019 and February 3, 2019.
Ghana will battle Ethiopia, Sierra Leone and Kenya in Group F of qualification for the tournament. At his unveiling on Tuesday, May 16 at the Ghana Football Association (GFA) secretariat, Kwesi Appiah was asked to bring the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) trophy home.
Ghana have four continental trophies after winning the tournament in 1963, 1965, 1978 and 1982. The Black Stars have come close since their last glory, reaching the final in 1992, 2010 and 2015.
The side was knocked out at the semi-final stage by eventual champions and host of the 2019 edition, Cameroon.
Appiah has also been tasked to qualify the team to the 2018 FIFA World Cup to be staged in Russia.
