Akufo-Addo to Visit Denkyira Buasi

The President,  Nana Akufo-Addo will visit Denkyira Buase in the Central Region to see where the late army officer, Major Maxwell  Adams Mahama was lynched to death by residents.

“The President on the 11 of this month will pay a working visit the region and he is expected to go to Denkyira-Buase to meet chiefs and opinion leaders there”, Deputy Central Regional Minister, Hon. Thomas Agyei Baffour revealed.

“We have communicated the visit to the Chiefs and everyone concerned that on  the 11 the President will pay working visit to them”.

The army officer on 29 May, 2017 was murdered by the youth of the area on suspicion of being and an armed robber after a snail seller spotted a psitol on him whiles jogging.

Earlier, family of the late Major Maxwell Adams Mahama visited the place where their relative met his untimely death.
