KNUST in Need of Vehicle

Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) is in dire need of a vehicle to run it’s daily operations.
The faculty can only boast of a thirty seater rickety bus which according to authorities of the KNUST, can only transport students to very short distances.
“Our only thirty seated bus can take as us as far as Ejisu”,Dean of the Faculty, Professor Mrs. Rita Akosua Dickson lamented when addressing a meeting of Pharmaceutical Association of Ghana.
Ejisu near Kumasi is a few miles from KNUST campus which happens to be the hometown of Yaa Asantewaa, a warrior Queen mother who led the people to fight the British in the olden days.
Professor Dickson appealed to the three hundred members of the Association to assist the Faculty with a new vehicle to carry students to and from various places to study.
The theme for the this year’s meeting/AGM is “Harnessing Opportunity in Pharmacy for National Economic Development” started from first August and ended 6, 2017.
Professor Mrs. Rita Akosua Dickson thanked members of the Association for their previous contribution to the Faculty reminding them of their need for a new bus.
