The Ministry of Education has yet again extended the deadline for the placement of junior high school (JHS) graduates into senior high schools (SHSs). The latest extension puts the deadline at the end of September.
There have been frustrations for most parents in accessing the portal of their wards.
The Computerised School Selection Placement System (CSSPS) Secretariat has assured that all students who did not fail in Mathematics and English Language will have placements.
It assures that the new website, cssps.gov.gh, which was created to add up to the original myjhsresult.net, is active and can be accessed by all.
“The Ministry assures parents and guardians that no child who qualified to be placed in a public senior high school will be left behind,” a statement signed the Minister of Education, Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh, said. Students and parents had been given up till midnight Friday to get placed but the new deadline comes as a fresh relief to them.
