Movie Director threatens to sue government
The former General Secretary of Film Producers Association of Ghana (FIPAG), Mr. James Aboagye, has threatened to sue the government of Ghana if article 11 section c ” of the Ghana cultural policy is not implement by the end of 2018.
According to Mr. Aboagye, it is clearly stated in the policy that, television shall make its programs seventy (70) percent Ghanaian and thirty (30) percent foreign but this regulation is clearly being flouted.

Mr. Aboagye made the observation on OTEC Fm’s entertainment show “ANOKYEKROM” hosted by Collins Tee.
He state that several concerns have been made during the previous administrations but nobody seems to care.
“l give the government up to the end of 2018, if l do not see article 11 section c of the Ghana cultural policy implemented, l will personally take legal action against the government, I will not sit for our movie industry to collapse due to negligence on the part of the government.” Mr. Aboagye stressed.
