JAPASS ‘’94 Year Group donate desks to support free SHS
The 1994 batch of the Jachie Pramso Senior High School (JAPASS) Old Students Association (JAPOSA) has presented 65 mono desks to the School as part of their effort to support their alma-mater and the Free SHS policy.
The Leader of the 1994 year group delegation, Mr Prince Debrah, presented the furniture to the authorities and said the gesture was the Group’s contribution to the development of the institution.
He said it was the desire of the old students to contribute towards making JAPASS “the preferred SHS for academic excellence.”
Mr Debrah said the School had prepared the way for many old students to excel in diverse professional fields, over the years, which he attributed to the quality of training they received during their school days.
A lecturer at the marketing Department of the Kumasi Technical University and leading member of the 1994 JAPOSA group Collins Kankam Kwarteng populary known as Santiago who was part of the delegation that presented the desks to school added that it was time for the old students to thank their alma-mater by contributing to the development of the School and advised the students to study hard to reach to their aim in life.
Headmaster of the Jachie Pramso Senior High School who received the desks on behalf of the school, Mr Francis Donkor, expressed gratitude to the Association for the gesture and commended members for their continued interest in the progress of the School.
He however called on other Old students of the school to emulate the kind gesture of the 1994 year group and support the school especially with a power generating plant to provide electricity for the school during power outages.
