Born without Anus: Stuttgart SDA Church supports surgery of 4-month old boy

The Seventh Day Adventist Church Branch in Stuttgart, Germany with support from the Mid Central Ghana Conference of the SDA Ghana has made a cash donation of 7000 Ghana cedis to the family of a 4-month old boy who is suffering from imperforate anus.
The head Pastor for the SDA Church at Stuttgart Pastor Asare Bediako said they were moved by the report of the young boy’s condition by a Kumasi based media firm OTEC FM.
Led by the President , Pastor Osei Kofi, Treasurer, Elder Samuel Kutin, Secretary , Alexander Marfo , and the communications Director Pastor Stephen Kwadwo Adusei all of the Mid Central Ghana Conference , they presented the money to aid the treatment of young Emannuel Sokum .
The Sokum Family at Barekese Fufou in the Atwima Nwabiagya North District of the Ashanti Region was in a difficult moment when their newly born baby was diagnosed with imperforate anus, a condition where the child has no anus to pass stools.
A temporal hole(stoma) was created for him at the Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital for immediate passage of stools .
Doctors at the Peadeatrician department of the hospital after careful examination scheduled the final surgery of the boy in early August 2020, but demanded 10,000 Ghana cedis for the treatment.
The SDA church following a series of report by Kwame Agyenim Boateng on OTEC FM on Thurday June 18, 2020 Presented 7000 cedis to the boy at the studios of OTEC FM.
The Host of the Nyasapo Show Captain Koda backed by producers and Management of the Station commended the SDA church for their kind gesture.
He pledged to use his huge platform in line with the visions of the firm to help the vulnerable.
The mother of the boy Jennifer Sokum thanked the listeners of OTEC FM particularly the SDA church for the support.
