The National Communications Director of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Sammy Gyamfi is facing the wrath of pro NPP Pressure group, Action Patriot for Justice (APJ) after his comments that supposes that security officers will lose their jobs if President Nana Addo is voted out of power.

According to APJ the NDC has hatched up all kinds of reckless tactics to bastardize and vilify the security services with threats designed to psychologically have them pander to its whims and caprices.

In a press conference held at the NDC Headquarters yesterday, Sammy Gyamfi indicated that security officials who he accused were in bed with the President will be mercilessly dealt with when the NDC comes into power.

“The police officers and the military officers are making their career conterminous with that of President Akufo-Addo. The day President Akufo-Addo exits office will be the last day they will serve as policemen and military men and we will deal with them mercilessly”.

Sammy Gyamfi further took to his twitter handle to stress his message as he tweeted: “Notice is hereby served to all unscrupulous Security Officials who have lent themselves to the despotic Akufo Addo-gov’t as pliant agents of violence against innocent citizens, that the next NDC gov’t will fish them out and deal with them mercilessly when power eventually shifts”.

A statement issued and signed  by the leadership of the group is of the view that, the NDC refusal to disassociate themselves from the from such heedless, reckless, careless, and menacing utterances of their national communications officer is enough to conclude that, Sammy Gyamfi spoke the mind of the NDC towards the security services should they come to power.

‘’This is not a funny comment to have come from a party in opposition determined to come back to power yet, the religious bodies, peace council, civil society groups and even the NPP is silent over this irresponsible statement that is demeaning to our Noble men and women in the force’’.

SAMMY GYAMFI’s THREAT AND PROVOCATIVE OUTBURST AT THE SECURITY SERVICES IS THE MIND OF THE NDC………….APJ

The NDC thought that, the security services will lower the standard, deny professionalism and allow themselves to be used by them in their desperate attempt to come to power. And to achieve this impossible mission, the NDC has hatched up all kinds of reckless tactics to bastardize and vilify the security services with threats designed to psychologically have them pander to it’s whims and caprices

Not too long ago, the Ningo Prampram MP, Hon. Sam Netty George was seen in a video shouting at some security personnel in his usual arrogant posture; “power will shift and when that happens, don’t say Sam George is a bad boy” and what this means still remains a mystery, until the national communications officer of the NDC in a press conference recently, demystified in clearer terms how they(NDC) will forcefully and specifically end the career of most personnel in the military and the police service should the NDC come to power.

We(APJ) decided to hold on for a day or two, if the NDC will express strong disapproval of or distance the party from such heedless, reckless, careless, and menacing utterances of their national communications officer, but their deafening silence so far, is enough to conclude that, Sammy Gyamfi spoke the mind of the NDC towards the security services should they come to power.

This is not a funny comment to have come from a party in opposition determined to come back to power yet, the religious bodies, peace council, civil society groups and even the NPP is silent over this irresponsible statement that is demeaning to our Noble men and women in the force.

Only God knows what would have happened in this country if such comment came from any NPP member, but when the alternative is empty without solid and a convincing message, they become confuse with comments disastrous to this country.

The future is bright under the NPP, 4more for Nana to do more.

Let’s say NO to the NDC.
