Coronavirus: Ghana’s death toll now 280

Four more people have died from COVID-19 in Ghana taking the country’s death toll to 280, the Ghana Health Service has announced.

According to the GHS, 55 new cases have been recorded taking the national tally to 44,713.

In total 43,577 people who were infected with the disease have recovered or have been discharged.

Upper East Region – 282

Oti Region – 237

Upper West Region – 90

Savannah Region – 62

North East Region – 19
