Man killed and tied to an electric pole

A man believed to be in his 60s has been killed and tied with electric wires on a light pole at Dennis, a suburb of Gomoa Budumburam

Residents of Dennis, a suburb of Gomoa Budumburam in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region have been put into a shock after they woke up this morning to see a man believed to be in his 60’s murdered and tied on an electricity pole.

The deceased according to residents was tied with electric wires on the electric pole.

The man according to them might have been killed by Sakawa assailants.

Some residents who spoke with OTECNews expressed their worry and fear, they stated that the man is not a native of the community. They believe the assailants might have brought the deceased from a different community.

The Body of the deceased however has been conveyed by the Gomoa Budumburam Police Station to Winneba Trauma Hospital Morgue for preservation.

The Kasoa Division District Police Command has not commented on the issue whilst investigation is ongoing to arrest the perpetrators of the incident.
