Two children drown at Santasi- Apire

Two people got drown during heavy rain that occurred last Friday at Santasi Apire, a suburb in Kumasi.

Kofi Ahenkan 7 and a student at community int. Sch near Santasi roundabout could not go back to home after school had closed last Friday.

A source hinted, Akua Manu alias Mumee went to the school to pick Ahenkan from the school.

The 17 year old girl when coming from school accidentally met their untimely death when the heavy rain drown both of them and pulled them to Ahenemma Kokoben near Santasi.

The bodies were retrieved on Sunday afternoon after a heavy search by residents of Apire.
