NPP to Begin Nationwide Registration of Members Soon

Information reaching Myvoicenews.com has it that the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) will soon begin a nationwide compilation of a fresh register of its members.

There would be issuance of new membership cards at a fee of GH¢10 in the 38,000 polling stations across the country, the reliable source hinted.

This exercise comes as part of the Party’s restructuring and reorganization efforts.

Per the arrangement, registration of members will take place at the polling stations in the various electoral areas prior to the election of polling station executives in January, 2022.

After the election of polling stations executives, next will be the election of constituency executives in March 2022.

Myvoicenews.com can confirm that, elections of regional executive members will take place in May 2022, while the elections of national executive members comes off in September 2022.

On the membership registration which starts today, one would need need another party member to vouch for him before the membership card would be given out.

“Any member with old who wanted to be re-registered as a true party member can go for registration form at no fee” the source added.

The NPP would begin a new ideological school for party members from March next year in its headquarters office located at Asylum Down.
