Ashanti Region GIS to hold aptitude test for all qualified applicants on Saturday November 2

The Ashanti Regional branch of the Ghana Immigration Service GIS has scheduled Saturday November 2, 2021 for the aptitude test for all qualified applicants in the ongoing 2021/2022 Recruitment and Selection Process.

According to GIS all applications waiting to be enlisted in the service will have to sit for the examination before they can move to the next stage of the process.

GIS on Monday October 25, 2021 begun  screening documents of all eligible applicants as part the requirement process.

This follows completion of the first phase of the recruitment process where applicants were made to register their details online

Thousands of Ghanaian according according to OTEC News’ Kwame Agyenim Boateng trouped to the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in the Kumasi Metropolis of the Ashanti with their credentials in a bid to get recruited into the GIS.

The applicants, made up of mostly unemployed youth are being taken through various stages including screening, body, and height check.

The huge number of applicants had caused vehicular traffic as job seekers queued from the ends of the walls to gain entry into the stadium.

The Public Relations Officer for GIS in the Ashanti Region  Mr Elijah Aburagu told OTEC News that the exercise started at 0800 hours on Monday addind that, the  applicants behaved very well on the first day of the inspection process.

He said the exercise covered both physical screening and inspection of certificates.

He disclosed that all applicants who will be selected for the next stage of the recruitment shall receive SMS notification before the final aptitude test on Saturday.
