Police on manhunt for Kumasi robbers

The Ashanti Regional Police Command is on a manhunt for some suspected robbers who killed a private security man, stole about GH¢98,000 at Ahenema Kokoben in the Atwima Kwanwoma District
The alleged Robbers were said to have invaded A2 Alluminium Company Limited on Tuesday October 19,2021 killing a 49-year old Mr Annor Bosompem, a private security officer during the operation.
The Public Relations Officer for the Ashanti Regional Police Command ASP Godwin Ahianyo in an interview with OTEC News Kwame Agyenim Boateng said the command have already picked relevant information and with the support of the public, the culprits would be arrested.
“We are appealing to those in the area and the entire region to volunteer credible information that would facilitate the arrest of the suspects”
ASP Ahianyo said police will continue to engage communities in the Region to also report any suspicious character in their areas proper actions to be taking.
He however disclosed that they suspect the victim to have died of suffocation, adding that the body is currently at the morgue pending autopsy to confirm their suspicion.
