The New Patriotic Party NPP have announced that nomination forms for regional and constituency polls will be available online.
Speaking to journalists in a press conference on Wednesday April 13 ,2022 the General Secretary for NPP John Boadu said the move forms part of the party’s move make the nomination forms available to all aspirants.
Announcing dates for the opening of forms, Mr Boadu said New Patriotic Party (NPP) has scheduled Thursday, April 28 to Monday May 2, 2022 for the constituency elections.
He disclosed that opening and closing of nominations will begin on the April 19 and end April 20, 2022.
Mr Boadu again noted that the regional elections will follow virtually the same partern as the constituency elections.
The regional elections he said will be held between 27th and 29th May, 2022.
Opening and closing of nominations for regional officers who are aspiring for positions have been scheduled to take place between 15th and 20th of May 2022.
The scheduled dates, he explained, follows a meeting by the party’s National Council.
Mr Boadu also announced the nomination fees for constituency chairperson position has been pegged at GHS 500 whiles all other positions will pay GHS 200 for the nominations.
He called on all party members to take note of the dates and follow due process for the smooth running of the elections.
