IMF Bailout: We’ll negotiate well – Nana Addo assure Ghanaians

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has called on Ghanaians to maintain and hold in high esteem the trust they have in the ruling NPP government despite return to the IMF Bailout programme.
According to the president, the NPP has a track record of building a better economy and so therefore Ghanaians should believe the ailing economy will soon be brought back to good standing.
Speaking at the party’s national delegates conference at the Accra sports stadium, Nana Addo maintained that even though recent hard times has forced government to seek an IMF bailout, proper negotiations will be made between Ghana and the IMF to ensure the ordinary Ghanaian is not affected.
He however lauded the organised Labour and other unions for calling off the recent COLA strike.
