Commercial Driver Shot Dead by suspected Armed Robbers on Ahenkro-Kwaman Highway

A 36-year-old commercial driver, Amos Adusei, popularly known as Star Boy, has been shot to death by suspected armed robbers on the Ahenkro-Kwaman highway in the Ashanti Region.

The deceased according to witness died on Saturday, July 6, 2024 after the incident.

According to his brother, Mr. Pedmore Agyei Donkor, Amos had transported passengers from Ahenkro to Kwamang but was attacked by the suspected robbers while returning to Ahenkro.

Speaking to OTEC News Reporter Jacob Agyenim Boateng, Mr Pad more revealed that, residents who visited the scene reported hearing multiple gunshots and found Amos in a pool of blood suspecting armed robbers.

 He disclosed that, his brother was pronounced dead upon arrival at Offinso Saint Patrick hospital.

The police have since begun investigating the incident.
