A/R: Journalist Organizes Workshop on New SHS Curriculum for BECE Graduates in Kwadaso Municipality

A Kumasi-based journalist, Jacob Agyenim Boateng, popularly known as Nana Kokooto, has organized a workshop for BECE graduates on the new standard-based curriculum for SHS students at Tanoso in the Kwadaso Municipality of the Ashanti Region.
The engagement aimed to help students understand the new curriculum and make informed decisions in the school placement process.
The workshop, held at Tanoso Anglican JHS on Sunday, August 25, 2024, focused on educating students on new career pathways outlined in the curriculum.
The event, done in collaboration with Assembly Members Hon Adusei Poku and Arron Nandie, brought together about 50 students and parents.
Addressing the students, Mr. Agyenim Boateng urged them to take a keen interest in the new curriculum, understand it, and work hard for their future.
Students and parents who attended the event described it as an eye-opener, expressing gratitude to the organizer for enlightening them on the changes.
Hon Adusei Poku noted that the program will help students select the right schools.
The workshop aimed to empower students with knowledge of the new curriculum, enabling them to make informed decisions about their educational future.
