Elon Musk’s Starlink to start operations in Ghana by end of August, says NCA
Ghana is set to launch Elon Musk’s Starlink internet service by the end of August 2024, the National Communications Authority (NCA) has announced.
According to the NCA, it has completed all necessary administrative and licensing procedures, allowing Starlink to roll out its high-speed internet services across the country.
In a statement released on Thursday (22 August), the NCA confirmed that the service will be managed by Space X Starlink GH LTD, a branch of Musk’s SpaceX.
“Starlink will officially commence operations in Ghana by the end of this month (August, 2024). This follows the conclusion of all administrative and licensing procedures with the National Communications Authority (NCA).
“Starlink will be operated by Space X Starlink GH LTD,” the statement added.
