Otumfuo Foundation and Ghana Gas break ground for ultramodern staff bungalows at Saint Louis SHS

The Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Foundation, in collaboration with Ghana Gas, has cut the sod for the construction of staff bungalows at the Saint Louis Girls Senior High School in the Ashanti Region.

The one-storey building will consist of 4 units of two-bedroom flats, aimed at providing comfortable accommodation for teachers and staff of the school.

The project, initiated by the Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Foundation, is being supported by Ghana Gas as part of their corporate social responsibility efforts.

Speaking at the ground breaking event in Monday September 16, 2024, the Board Chairman for the Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Foundation Nana Prof. Oheneba Boachie-Adjei Woahene II said construction of the staff bungalows is expected to improve the living conditions of the teachers and staff, ultimately enhancing the learning environment for students.

He underscored Asantehene’s commitment to providing access to quality education in the country, adding that the foundation will continue to explore ways to support education

The sod cutting ceremony was attended by officials from the Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Foundation, Ghana Gas, and the school administration.
For her part, a Senior Staff at the Ghana Gas Company Ohemaa Fosu said the company has already made arrangements for funding
She added that the company will ensure completion of the project in eight months and hand over to the school authority.
