Okada Rider Brutally Murdered in Ahafo Ano North District
Tragedy struck in Dwaaho, Ahafo Ano North District, Ashanti Region, as a 19-year-old Okada rider was brutally killed by unidentified assailants.
The victim, a local motorbike driver, was found dead with multiple stab wounds and a slashed throat.
According to Hon. Yaw Opoku, Assembly member for the area, the deceased was hired by a group of unknown men to transport them to Asuhyia.
The assailants turned on him, attacking him fatally on Thursday, October 25, 2024
Speaking to OTEC News Reporter Oheneba Kwaku Atta Apossor, the Assembly Member said, the motive behind the gruesome murder remains unknown, and police are currently investigating the case.
The Dwaaho community is reeling in shock and grief over the senseless killing.
The police have assured the public that they are working tirelessly to apprehend the perpetrators and bring them to justice.
The authorities are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward and assist in the investigation.
