2025 CHAN qualifiers: 32 players called to Black Galaxies against Nigeria
Head coach of the Black Galaxies of Ghana , Massud Didi Dramani has invited thirty two (32) players to start preparations ahead of the 2025 Africa Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifiers against Nigeria at Ghanaman soccer center of excellence in Prampram.
Ghana is scheduled to play home first on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at the Accra sports stadium before traveling to Nigeria on Friday, December 27, 2024 for the reverse fixture
The training camp which is expected to shape up the home grown players for the upcoming qualifiers is scheduled to start on Monday November 25, 2024 and end on December 5, 2024 to make way for the players to take part in the 2024 general elections to be held in Ghana on December 7, 2024.
Coach Didi Dramani is aiming to use this period to take players through intensive training such as tactical drills, training matches and fitness sessions.
The Black Galaxies last defeated Nigeria under the tenure of former coach Annor Walker to qualify for the CHAN 2023 tournament which was hosted by Morocco and will be hoping to stand on this to walk over Nigeria again for a place in the next championship which will take place in Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda respectively from February 1, 2025 to February 28,2025.
