Bawumia’s Shift to digitalization exposes  his poor  economic performance – Kwame Awuah Darko

A Former Managing Director of the Tema Oil Refinery, Kwame Awuah Darko, has criticized the flagbearer of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia, for shifting from economic discuss to digitalization after failing to deliver on economic promises.

According to Darko, the NPP’s inability to fulfill its pledge to run a more resilient economy has forced them to shift their focus to digitalization.

Speaking on Kumasi-based OTEC 102.9 FM’s afternoon political show Dwabrem, on Friday November 29, 2024,  hosted by Dr Cash,  Mr. Darko argued that this show of incompetence makes the NPP unfit to lead Ghana.

He cautioned voters against falling for Dr. Bawumia’s “sugarcoated promises” and warned that voting for the NPP in 2024 would be disastrous, as they have already demonstrated their inability to offer anything positive to Ghana.

In contrast, Darko expressed confidence in the National Democratic Congress (NDC), stating that they are now in a position to restore Ghana’s former glory, thanks to their competent leaders.

As a leading member of the NDC, Darko has previously advocated for a shift in Ghana’s economic priorities, emphasizing the need for sustainable job creation and economic growth.
