The Member of Parliament for Buem Constituency, Kofi Adams, has assured Ghanaians that the next NDC government will continue and enhance all ongoing pro-poor policies, including the free Senior High School policy.
According to Mr. Adams, the next NDC government, led by former President John Dramani Mahama, will find practical ways to improve the free SHS policy to better serve its purpose.
He said this during an exclusively interview on the Kumasi based OTEC 102.9 FM’s morning show Nyansapo on Tuesday
Mr. Adams emphasized that reports claiming the NDC will halt free SHS are false and aimed at discrediting the party.

He cited examples of the NDC’s track record in maintaining and improving policies initiated by the NPP, such as, Continuing Kufuor’s Youth Employment Policy
He noted that the NDC backed this policy with law and proper funding, helping thousands of youth in Ghana.
Mr Adams disclosed that, the NDC Strengthened Metro Mass Transit by importing more buses to enhance this service, adding that, the party also continued Hospital Projects initiated by the NPP
Mr. Adams urged voters in the Ashanti Region to vote for the NDC if they desire accelerated development.
