Asanteman United Front Demands Action Over Attack on Asantehene

The Asanteman United Front has called on security,e and authority figures to intervene in the recent attack on the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, at Takyiman.

At a press conference, Mr. Kwasi Kyei a panel member of the Ashanti United Front said they are responding directly to a press conference recently held by the Techiman Traditional Council.

Mr. Kyei expressed disappointment that the Techiman Traditional Council’s press conference did not include an apology for the incident.

He concluded that they were expecting a sincere expression of regret. The lack of an apology has only added to the tensions between the two groups.
