Constituency organizers of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ashanti Region have expressed their heartfelt gratitude to President Elect John Dramani Mahama and Chief Alexander Mould for their selfless efforts during the electioneering strategy and campaign in the region.
The organizers noted that these efforts contributed significantly to the party’s recent electoral gains in the region.
The Organiser in a press release on Sunday said Chief Alexander Mould’s innovative approach to election preparedness, which included a carefully designed stimulation exercise, yielded impressive results.
The exercise, which took place in Manhyia South, Bantama, and Kwabre East constituencies, brought together polling station agents, ward collation officials, and pink sheet collectors.
Through this initiative, Hon. Mould’s team provided participants with practical experience, empowering them to navigate the electoral process with confidence and precision.
The statistical data speaks for itself, demonstrating the impact of Hon. Mould’s initiative.
In Manhyia South, NDC’s share of the vote increased from 15.87% in 2020 to 20.51% in 2024, representing a significant gain of 4.64 percentage points.
Similarly, in Bantama, NDC’s vote share rose from 13.45% in 2020 to 19.08% in 2024, marking an impressive increase of 5.63 percentage points.
In Kwabre East, NDC’s vote share surged from 22.11% in 2020 to 28.40% in 2024, indicating a substantial gain of 6.29 percentage points.
The organizers praised Hon. Mould’s visionary leadership, commitment to strengthening democratic processes, and dedication to empowering party members.
They also acknowledged his unquantifiable donations, including party T-shirts, financial assistance, brand new motorcycles, and physical presence to campaign, which yielded positive outcomes and indelible impact.
The organizers appealed to the appointing authorities to consider individuals who spent time and resources helping direct the region, which yielded positive results, rather than those who exaggerated their role with no impact.
They vowed to resist any attempt to smuggle in unknown elements in the name of the region, emphasizing their commitment to the party’s success
