KATH Honors 40 Dedicated Staff with Awards and Cash Prizes

The Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) in the Ashanti Region has recognized the hard work and dedication of its staff by awarding over 40 employees for their outstanding services.

 The awardees include 20 long-serving staff members who have consistently demonstrated exceptional commitment to the facility, as well as 20 others who distinguished themselves in 2024.

The recipients were rewarded with cash prizes, electronic gadgets, and other motivational items, including television sets and refrigerators.

 According to Dr. Ochere Addai Mensah, Chief Executive Officer of KATH, the overall best staff member received a check for 20,000 cedis, while the first and second runners-up received 15,000 and 10,000 cedis, respectively.

Dr. Mensah commended the staff and partners of the hospital for their unwavering commitment to quality healthcare in the region.

He pledged that the management would continue to prioritize the welfare of staff and stakeholders to ensure effective services.

The overall best staff award went to Dr. Devine Aseye Yao Amenuke, Head of the Respiratory Unit at the hospital.

 In his acceptance speech, Dr. Amenuke dedicated the award to his colleagues and family for their support and thanked God for His guidance.

He pledged to continue serving the facility and its patients with excellence.
